Sharon has spent 21 years in the banking industry, during which time she has held a number of senior roles.
She has extensive experience of customer proposition development, P&L management and establishing new business and product lines in both developed and emerging markets. Sharon has spent time working in the Middle East where she was accountable for the creation and delivery of all new customer and product proposition development, as well as the business’s key performance metrics. Before this, she was at Coutts where she led global banking products and services, and at Citi where she was the managing director for wealth management and retail banking. Earlier in her career, Sharon was part of the management team responsible for launching cahoot, the stand-alone internet bank for Abbey National.
Sharon is a non-executive director of Streeva, a fintech with a mission to enrich digital payments for everyone. Streeva’s initial solution, Swiftaid, automates tax benefits for UK companies to reduce the amount of unclaimed Gift Aid each year.
Sharon likes to spend any free time she has with her family. She also has a longstanding passion for horses and has competed regularly over the last 30 years, winning the National Championships when she was in the Middle East.
