During this escalating outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) we wanted to reassure you that Hoare’s bank remains very much open for business. However, if you wish to avoid central London we are more than happy to communicate via email or telephone.
In these unsettling times we are doing all we can for the safe welfare of our customers, staff and their families while ensuring that all our services remain fully operational. Our thoughts are with those of our customers who are more at risk due to age or a particular vulnerability.
In line with government recommendations, many of our staff are now working from home where they are fully equipped to access our systems securely. This allows us to take a sensible and precautionary approach while making every effort to maintain a consistent level of customer service and continuity. Both our Fleet Street and Lowndes Street branches are open but with a reduced number of staff on site. If you need to have a conversation about your banking matters, please call our usual number and our switchboard can still put you through. Letters and email will also be received and answered as usual.
