C. Hoare & Co.’s donor-advised fund, the Master Charitable Trust (MCT), allows donors to make grants across the full range of COVID-19-related causes. MCT lifts the administrative burden of charitable giving and many of our donors have been able to provide early cornerstone funding to support new schemes. Indeed, as many grants have been made through MCT in the last few months were made in the previous 12 months, raising more than £19m in donations since the start of the crisis.
