The bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Rodwell as partner. Amy is the first member of the twelfth generation of the Hoare family to join the partnership and the 50th partner in the bank’s long history.

Amy joined C. Hoare & Co. in 2015, and has taken up a wide range of roles within the business, starting in Messrs. Hoare Trustees where she supported customers’ philanthropic giving via the Master Charitable Trust. She has also taken an active role in the Golden Bottle Trust, spent time in the Private Banking team, and worked within the Digital & Technology, Finance and Risk departments.

Amy will work closely with other partners to build and consolidate customer relationships. In addition, she will work with the partners and management team to support the bank’s ongoing commitment to embed purpose across the organisation. Further areas of focus will include the bank’s carbon-reduction strategy and staff wellbeing. Outside the bank, Amy is a member of the leadership circle of United for Global Mental Health.

Alexander S Hoare said: “We are delighted to announce Amy as our 50th partner. In her six years with the bank Amy has demonstrated she shares our values and passion for our customers, communities and people that are so core to our success.”

Amy Rodwell commented: “It’s a huge honour to become a partner and I look forward to playing my part in stewarding the bank through the next chapters in its distinguished history. It is exciting to work with my fellow partners to evolve our thinking on purpose and sustainability, and I welcome the opportunity to get to know and support the next generation of customers.”
